John E. Dubler, 60, has served as a pastor in Fort Collins since 1980. Before pioneering Good Shepherd Bible Chapel, he served as pastor of the Fort Collins Christian Center. Pastor John is married to Dr. Mary L. Dubler, DVM. John has three adult children, and five grandchildren.

Background: Pastor John was born in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He served 10 years in the United States Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam. He has logged over 200 combat missions in the F4D fighter aircraft. His decorations include the Silver Star for Gallantry In Action, The Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Air Medal with 17 Oak Leaf Clusters. Advanced education includes a Master of Arts degree from Colorado State University. In 1972 he became a believer, saved by grace through faith, in our Lord Jesus Christ. During his final tour of duty with the Air Force, as an instructor at the Air Force Academy, he felt called to full-time ministry. In 1980 he was ordained as a pastor, and began serving as senior pastor in 1981. In December of 1995 Pastor John, along with a small team, pioneered the Good Shepherd Bible Chapel.
